COCA-COLA MUSIC MIX | FINAL FOUR

Discovery Green | Houston, TX | April 2016

Coca-Cola became the lead brand for Saturday as the show transitioned from the original Coke Zero Countdown to be the Coca-Cola Music Mix in 2016. 3 Point worked with Coca-Cola’s brand agencies very closely in the planning process, as they utilized the event to launch their nationwide “Share a Song” campaign, which would debut at the Final Four in Houston. The run-of-show came to life on stage with crowd interactive elements like the Coca-Cola Emoji Cam and the Share-a-Song Lyric Challenge, along with live hits at interactive stations throughout the park, there was a full day of great music and entertainment.

CAPITAL ONE JAMFEST | FINAL FOUR

Discovery Green | Houston, TX | April 2016

For the fourth consecutive year, 3 Point teamed up Turner Sports to produce intermission programming for Capital One JamFest, this time in the heart of downtown Houston. Once again with the talented team of Stage Host Scotty B, along with Correspondents Ro Parrish and Ali Dee, we brought Capital One’s brand to life on stage and throughout the park. Ahead of the headliner, Maroon 5, the JamFest tradition of Charles Barkley appearing on stage was a smash hit, where Sir Chuck was very popular in his time with the Rockets.

Each year, Turner Sports and the NCAA partner to put on a grand scale fan festival at the year’s premier basketball event. At Houston’s NCAA Final Four Fan Fest presented by Capital One, our role for the weekend was expanded to include court programming for the venue’s center piece, Buick Arena. Attendees were treated to a Latin America All-Star Game, the championship of the Team Manager’s tournament, along with autograph signings, entertainment act performances and on-court contests. We also reunited with emcee Leighton Condell (2012 Legends Game), who does a great job of keeping the fans engaged throughout the weekend.

CAPITAL ONE BEACH BASH | ORANGE BOWL

Miami, Beach | Miami, FL | December 2015

The first-ever Capital One Beach Bash took place the day prior to the Capital One Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida.  The concert not only served as the official pep-rallies for the participating teams, Clemson and Oklahoma, but also featured full performances by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Imagine Dragons.  Similar to our roles on Capital One JamFest productions, our focus was providing entertainment during all of the intermissions and providing the best possible experience for Capital One cardholders.  Hosted by Scotty B, featuring DJ/Emcee, DJ Mack, of I Heart Radio, celebrity guests included Oklahoma's Roy Williams, Clemson's Tajh Boyd and NFL Legend, Dan Marino who each addressed and threw footballs into the 25,000 person crowd.

CAPITAL ONE JAMFEST | FINAL FOUR

White River State Park | Indianapolis, IN | April 2015

Capital One JamFest takes place on Sunday of the annual March Madness Music Festival.  Over the past three years, we have produced intermission entertainment and assembled a talent team of hosts and correspondents to highlight Capital One activations throughout the Final Four.  The Indianapolis show featuring a continuation of traditions like Scotty B's "Stage Host Crowd Surf", this time with an Indy-stye twist with a race against JamFest Correspondent Ro Parrish.  The grand finale of the evening had the crowd jumping around as guest appearances by Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal stole the show while everyone got primed for the headline act, Zac Brown Band.

COKE ZERO COUNTDOWN | FINAL FOUR

White River State Park | Indianapolis, IN | April 2015

The Final Four has become more than simply a college basketball weekend, with the March Madness Music Festival serving as a great example of this evolution.  Over the past three years, we have worked closely with Turner Sports and their Champion sponsor, Coca-Cola, to produce intermission entertainment throughout Saturday's Coke Zero Countdown.  In 2015, we focused on activating Coke Zero's "Frenemy" and "#OpenToTry" campaigns, incorporating these elements into stage contests such as the "Frenemy Spelling Bee" and "#OpenToTry Hidden Talents Competition".  Headlined by Rihanna and Passion Pit, this year's concert did a great job of setting the stage for the Final Four semifinals.

CAPITAL ONE JAMFEST | FINAL FOUR

Reunion Park | Dallas, TX | April 2014

Our second year producing entertainment for Capital One JamFest expanded traditions born in Atlanta, highlighted by the Fan Fest videos like "What's In Your Wallet?" along with backstage reports just before artists hit the stage.  Another focus in Dallas was a themed integration of Capital One's Final Four commercial campaign, with features like the Charles Barkley bobblehead contest.  The evening was capped off with a headline performance by Bruce Springsteen.

They say everything is bigger in Texas.  So when the March Madness Music Festival went to Dallas, Coke Zero brought in a celebrity host who created big laugh, despite his small stature.  Comedian, Kevin Hart, entertained the crowd throughout the day, with Coke Zero's #ProveIt campaign integrated into his talking points.  His live commentary over a series of fan cam features was comedic gold.  Once again, we used intermission breaks to ramp up the competitive nature of fans with bracket style contests such as the "Mascot Sound-Off" competition.  Musical artists included LL Cool J, Tim McGraw and the The Killers.

In Texas, they do everything bigger, so it only made sense that the scope of the Infiniti Tailgate would increase when plotted outside AT&T Stadium.  The Capital One Quicksilver Stage provided entertainment for crowds in excess of 25,000 over Final Four weekend.  Once again programming was focused around pep-rallies, fan contests and appearances by the each of the teams' bands, spirit squad and mascots.  The event was capped off with a musical performance by Kid Rock just before the National Championship Game.

CAPITAL ONE JAMFEST | FINAL FOUR

Centennial Olympic Park | Atlanta, GA | April 2013

In our first year working on Capital One JamFest, the primary goal was to create entertaining intermission breaks that enhanced Capital One's marketing platforms and presented a fluid run-of-show throughout the day.  Annual traditions were established like Scotty B's "Stage Host Crowd Surf", live reports from the activation spaces, t-shirt tosses from the Capital One Ferris Wheel and celebrity appearances - all with the goal of presenting Capital One branding as entertainment versus advertising.  Altanta's concert featured acts such as Sting and Dave Matthews Band.

In New Orleans, our relationship with Turner was established producing the Legends Game presented by Dove Men+Care, held at the NCAA’s Bracket Town.  The game brought NCAA Legends like Tim Hardaway, Bobby Hurley and many more back to the hardwood.  We produced the game entertainment, including contests and promotions hosted by Shaquille O'Neal.
